Story
I have the great pleasure of working with some of Australia's up and coming astonishingly talented researchers and clinicians. It is extremely encouraging that we, as a country, have people so young making a true impact on improving human health and ensuring a better quality of life. It is these amazingly passionate and committed individuals who are ensuring the nation's health and prosperity - now, and in the future, by understanding diseases and finding cures.
I am running this year's half marathon (despite saying I would not be running one again) as now, more than ever, do Australia's scientists need the support from all of us; the community. My target is to raise $2,000 in order to support one of our cancer scientists who are making significant headway in developing a drug that starves cancer cells. You can read more about this vital research by following this link: https://www.metabloqpharma.
Please, dig deep and donate today to help Associate Professor Jeff Holst and his team of expert scientists get us closer to finding a cure for prostate cancer, triple negative breast cancer and melanoma. $2,000 can go a long way.
